A beautiful and unique antique blue agate intaglio ring dating from the 1910s and set in 9ct rose gold.
Depicting a female Roman figure head, the intaglio is crisp and clear with great engraved details throughout. In wonderful condition, clear of nicks and abrasions, the colour of the stone is a stunning purple grey blue that really stands out when worn. The blue agate measures 10.9 x 8.1mm and sits very low on the finger. Bezel set, it is a very well made ring with a sturdy rose gold shank.
