A gorgeous moonstone brooch set in 9ct yellow gold and dating from the Victorian period.
Featuring nine beautiful moonstone cabochons that graduate slightly in size, each and every single stone glows with great adularescence as it hits the light. With blue and grey flashes of colour, each moonstone is securely set in little claw settings, on a gold bar which measures 44mm in length.
The brooch is fully functional and is in great condition showing minimal wear commensurate with age.
Beautiful as is, though could also become a conversion project if you wanted it turned into a lovely necklace.
