A wonderful sapphire and diamond cluster ring set in silver and 18ct rose gold and dating from the 1800s.
Set with a natural, faceted sapphire that is surrounded by a sprinkle of twinkling bright old cut diamonds in a striking setting that resembles a flower. There are six diamonds of approximately .05ct each that surround the bezel set sapphire with a whole outer row of very sparkly smaller diamonds that are mighty! In lovely condition for its age, some wear on the stones that is age related and only noticeable under magnification. The head measures 12.3 x 13.3mm and sits low on the finger. The setting is silver and it is closed back on a sturdy 18ct rose gold shank.
