A stunning pearl half hoop ring set in 15ct yellow gold and dating from the Victorian era.
Rings like this are becoming so hard to find so it is always exciting when you stumble across them! And this is truly a boulder of a ring! Set with five large natural creamy white lustrous pearls that graduate across the setting, these are all well matched and original in their setting. Beautiful open work gallery on a butter gold band that is solid with no signs of thinning or previous resize. The setting measures 21.4mm across and 7.3mm wide at the largest, central pearl. The shank has ornate scrolling and is in good antique condition, the pearls show very little signs of wear. A truly beautiful antique pearl band.
