This is a beautiful Art Deco old mine cut diamond solitaire set in 18ct gold and platinum.
The antique diamond is 0.30 tcw and has a lovely sparkle to it. A high, puffy chunky crown, it has great height and is illusion set on a platinum head with beautifully detailed shoulders, making it look larger in size. The diamond in its setting measures 7mm and rises 5mm. It is slightly included under magnification, but this is not noticeable to the naked eye. Slight wear commensurate with age, a tiny part of the engraving on the top of the shoulder has been lost - this is noticeable as a little grey mark on the shoulder (see photos).
