A gorgeous ring with the most vibrant blue chalcedony crafted in 9ct yellow gold and made in the Victorian style.
The square chalcedony cabochon is a lovely blue colour of substantial size, measuring 10mm. Bezel set in its gold case with three little beads top and bottom and with lovely hand engraved shoulders, part of the shank is hallmarked and a later addition. It’s in very good condition, the stone a stunning shiny blue colour, with very minor wear to it.
We think this was cast from an original Georgian/Victorian mount and made into multiples in the 1970s. A beautiful ring, extremely well made, it would make a wonderful addition to your collection and a fine summery pop of colour!
