A stunning garnet half hoop set in 15ct yellow gold and dating from the Georgian era, c1810.
Set with five flat cut almandine garnets, closed back in their setting that has the classic Georgian foliate hand chased engraving. The engraved pattern goes all the way round the split shank and is in very good condition throughout with lovely patina. The garnets show minimal age related wear. A beautiful example and these types of ring are becoming harder and harder to source.
