A stunning vintage jadeite cabochon ring set in solid 18ct yellow gold, dating from the mid-20th century and Chinese in origin.
Set with a natural variegated moss green cabochon jadeite with a beautiful lustre to it, showing grass green veins across the body and a significant size measuring 16 x 12mm across. In wonderful condition and extremely well made, it is securely set with four little diamond shaped claws, with a luxurious rich butter gold band and thick tapered shoulders.
