A beautiful antique Victorian navette ring featuring a natural ruby surrounded by beautiful seed pearls.
The ruby takes centre stage - a pigeon red pop of colour that has such a presence for its size! It is bright, strong and powerful! Surrounding the ruby are 21 creamy grey, seed pearls, all original, in a beautiful navette form. What I particularly like is the sweet gold detailing in between each seed pearl and the patina is so wonderful, an old matt yellow gold. With beautiful detailed split shoulders leading to a solid shank (which I think is a historical replacement). The setting measures 14.6 x 7.6mm and the shank is 2.3mm all round, no thinning.

A beautiful antique navette ring, in lovely condition for its age. A romantic and delicate piece, I love the combination of stones and shape that elongates the finger.
