A truly wonderful Scottish agate bracelet set in silver and dating from the late Victorian period.
The bracelet has been set with various coloured agate and carnelian with typical lovely banded patterns and vivid colours. Featuring a slightly raised groove on each panel, the agate has been beautifully capped with engraved silver fittings with swirl detailing. The heart padlock is set with a heart-shaped banded agate and a stunning engraved pattern of a rose verso.
In very good antique condition, the silver padlock clicks shut securely to join the two links together. The heart padlock can also be used separately as a charm/pendant. It measures 31.6mm including the silver bale.
The bracelet measures 7 in long and 8.5 in with the padlock, though once on the wrist it will fit slightly smaller.
