A stunning antique diamond half hoop ring dating from the mid 1800s and crafted in 14ct yellow gold and silver.
Set with five rose cut diamonds that total approximately 1.10ct, this ring twinkles and shimmers! The facets catch the light beautifully and I find rosecut diamonds to be very forgiving. They’re by no means perfect, but they are gorgeous! Under strong magnification, there is one nibble to note and some surface inclusions, though none of these are visible to the naked eye and they don’t detract from the overall gentle dazzle of the diamonds. The centre diamonds draws a beautiful warm colour to it, visible in certain light and seriously beautiful in my opinion!
The diamonds are open backed, set in typical pie crust pinched settings that measures 18mm across. Great for stacking or rocking solo, this is an absolute joy to wear!
