Quite the heavyweight this one!
A super stylish 1940s retro ring, featuring a stunning aquamarine that is estimated at 7cts and measuring a very impressive 14 x 10.4mm. A lovely clear and bright blue oval stone and free of abrasions, it is bezel set on a very unique shank and setting with a further four step bands of alternating yellow and white gold that enhance the stone even further. The total setting measures 21.3 x 16.4mm and rises 6.9mm off the finger.
The heavy solid gold shank is wide and thick, square in shape with great lines, angles and presence on the finger! In very good vintage condition, there’s a couple of minuscule nibbles to the aqua (visible under magnification) and some minor wear on the gold as expected. There’s a tiny bit of movement to the stone, but it has been checked and it’s totally secure in its setting. It fits quite a bit larger due to its shape and feels super comfortable on.
Size: M/US6 (fits larger)
Stamped 18ct
Weighs 19.5g
If you’re after a funky, super cool, very wearable statement ring, this is it! A statement retro vintage piece of jewellery from the 1940s, very well made and crafted in solid gold.
