A beautiful pair of French dormeuse earrings set in 18ct yellow gold and dating from around the 1890s.
Featuring wonderful cushion cut paste that you’d be forgiven to mistake for diamonds, the paste is equivalent to approximately .30ct each (if they’d been diamonds). They measure 4.5mm wide and the drop is 11.8mm, with a further tiny paste above the larger one. In excellent antique condition, they are leverback, fasten securely, feel lovely and solid and are perfect for everyday wear.
