I adore this antique bloodstone signet, such a fine example and in absolutely gorgeous condition.
Crafted in 15ct rose gold, with crisp hallmarks, the ring dates to 1875 and is just amazing…Featuring a perfectly round bloodstone with clear visible flecks of red, it is securely bezel set in a unique hexagonal gold setting, that really brings out its shape. The bloodstone is 11mm in diameter and the setting measures 16.3 x 15.8mm. Dotted with little beads of gold on each corner, the lush liquid gold shank has a further three round circles/pattern on each shoulder (reminds me of a trefoil almost) and a good solid band that measures 3.7mm at the back. In very good antique condition, the bloodstone has no damage to it, no scratches and the rose gold is a lovely warm hue and patina to it.

Truly wonderful, with great presence in the finger, sits lovely and low and is very comfortable to wear. To find one in such lovely condition too is a joy!
