This one is a gorgeous example dating from the late Edwardian, early Art Deco period. It features seven chunky old mine cut diamonds with puffy crowns and deep culets. A lovely fiery spread across the finger, they total approximately 1.30ct with good colour and clarity, bright and white, all completely eye clean. There’s a small nick to one of the second to end diamonds, that is visible only through high magnification, I have tried to zoom in on the fifth photo, but finding it quite hard to really see it myself! The diamonds are set in platinum within 18ct yellow gold engraved sides, slightly more faint on one side. The band has been previously resized, though it’s been well done with now evidence visible. Open back, it’s perfect for everyday wear, alone or stacked with other rings/bands. Width is 4.7mm at the centre tapering down to 3.9mm where the end diamonds sit, a nice spread that hugs the finger.
