Hand on heart wish I could keep these…they are just glorious!
A wonderful pair of Victorian dormeuse earrings, crafted in 18ct yellow gold. Featuring two large citrines, measuring 10mm each in diameter and weighing approximately 6.7tcw. As you will notice, they are not a complete match, but the stones are original to the earrings and you can’t really tell when worn - and if you can, it honestly does not matter - a slight variation on the same theme, which makes the pair even more unique! Set with two little diamonds atop, of approximately .26tcw, they measure 3.3mm each. One is an old cut diamond, the other is a transitional cut (an old replacement). The earrings close securely with their lever back hooks and they measure 17.5mm long. Substantial and noticeable and perfectly comfortable to wear every day.
