A classic and beautiful antique coral half hoop set in 9ct gold and dating from the Georgian era.
Set with five natural coral stones of lush deep orangey red colour, in a half hoop formation in pinched Georgian settings. The coral cabochons are in very good antique condition, showing minor wear commensurate with age. The setting measures 18mm across and hugs the finger nicely and comfortably, giving the illusion of a full eternity. Featuring split shoulders with detailed ridged engraving, leading to a rare slightly inverted shank.
