This very pretty ring, features a beautiful garnet dating from the 1970s which has been skilfully soldered on to an Edwardian shank with full Chester hallmarks. The garnet is a glowy vibrant reddish amber, substantial size, measuring 8.9 x 6.7mm, in a very pretty slightly raised setting with scored shoulders. Extremely well made, with a lovely rose gold shank, in good condition, there is a very very thin scratch to the garnet on the surface, though only noticeable under magnification.
