A true showstopper for sure, but in the wonderful, subtle way only diamonds from the Georgian period can offer!

This beautiful ring is crafted in 15ct gold and silver and is dated c1820. Featuring three rows of twinkling rosecut diamonds, accentuated by three chunky old mine cuts in the centre of each row - it makes for a stunningly visual ring with great finger coverage! The scalloped setting holds 27 diamonds, the moody rosecuts, like stars with glints of sparkle that catch the light beautifully. Rosecut diamonds are magical in this way, they really come alive in the evening light. The three old mine cut diamonds have great colour and clarity, are bright and super lively and I estimate them to be around .30tcw. The lovely broad setting measures 11 x 18mm, featuring three way split shoulders to the shank that tapers down to 1.7mm at the back. The ring is in good antique condition with wear commensurate with age, a few nibbles here and there on some of the rose cut diamonds, but all in keeping with its age and noted for accuracy. I would recommend it is worn with care, it is open back though and indeed I find the back of the setting a work of art in its own right!
