A stunning pearl half hoop ring set in 18ct yellow gold and dating from the 1800s.
Rings like this are becoming so hard to find and this all original half hoop band is in such wonderful condition. Set with seven natural snowy white lustrous pearls that graduate across the setting, these are all well matched and original in their cased setting that is typical of Georgian jewellery. The setting measures 20.7mm across and 4.4mm wide. The plain gold shank is slightly more oval in shape, no thinning or evidence of resize, it has a beautiful antique butter gold patina to it. The ring is in lovely antique condition with very little signs of wear, to note only that the side pearls are very lightly pushed into their settings and have a slight grey hue to them. No abrasions or wear otherwise.
