Dating from the early Edwardian era, this stunning opal ring is crafted in 18ct gold and is set with five beautiful opals.
The opals are all absolutely stunning - all natural and original to the ring, they exhibit a magnificent play of colours, showing stunning fiery red, orange, green, pink and blue rainbows flashing all over and on every single stone. Honestly I can’t get enough!
The head of the ring measures 17 wide and 8.4mm across and the opals graduate in size ranging from 5.3 to 4mm. All stones are in good condition with no visible scuffs or chips to any of them. They sit well and are securely set on a sturdy, thick 18ct gold shank with no evidence of thinning or resize.

A truly superb antique opal five stone ring. They’re becoming harder to find is such good antique condition, this does appear to have been safely kept in a drawer! Would make a lovely addition to your antique collection.
