A stunning pair of antique rosecut earrings set in 18ct yellow gold and dating from the Victorian era.
Set with twenty beautiful rosecut diamonds totalling just over 3.6ct, each earring features a single large rosecut diamond centre surrounded by a halo of eight diamonds and with a single smaller diamond above.
Rosecut diamonds have their own magic and these are super precious, scintillating and twinkling in the light. The diamonds are wonderful, showing some minor age related wear (some minor surface scratches/nibbles), though eye clean and truly stunning on. Hefty in size, they measure 13.5mm in diameter and drop 18mm. The open back setting means you don’t have to worry about them getting wet, though I wouldn’t recommend these are worn at sea or pool! Sturdy leverbacks, with a very pleasing “click”, they close up securely and feel so good on!
