A stunning antique diamond half hoop ring dating from the mid 1800s and crafted in 14ct yellow gold.
Set with five rose cut diamonds that total approximately 1.20ct, this ring twinkles and shimmers! The facets catch the light beautifully and I find rosecut diamonds to be very forgiving especially if they’re showing a good life lived, like these. They’re by no means perfect, but they are absolutely completely eye clean and gorgeous. Under very strong magnification, there’s a few nicks and nibbles to note, some surface inclusions and one very small chip to the top side of the second diamond, none of these are visible to the naked eye and they don’t detract from the overall gentle dazzle of the diamonds. Seriously beautiful in my opinion!
The diamonds are open backed, set in typical pie crust pinched settings that measures 19mm across. Great for stacking or rocking solo, this is an absolute joy to wear!
