A wonderful Scottish agate and cairngorm bracelet set in silver.
Dating from the early Edwardian period, this beautiful bracelet features four kite shaped agate stones interspersed with four cairngorms which is a type of quartz (looks like citrine) and originates from the Cairngorm mountain range in Scotland.
Crafted in solid silver, there is a variety of agate featured, including white, purple, moss agate, with typical lovely banded patterns and vivid colours. With a secure silver clasp featuring a Celtic motif, each stone is held securely in its setting. The agate measures 14.4 x 14.9mm and the quartz is 13mm (east to west).
In very good antique condition, the silver clap clicks shut securely and there’s a small safety chain which can no longer be attached to the side of the clasp.
Measures 8in long, once on the wrist it will fit a bit smaller
Weighs 24g
A wonderful example of Edwardian craftsmanship, a really beautiful bracelet with lovely Scottish agate gemstones.
