A very pretty ruby and diamond cluster ring, dating from the 1920s, set in 18ct yellow gold and platinum.
A classic example of the period, it features a natural ruby that is a strong raspberry pink colour. Surrounded by a halo of diamonds set in platinum and in a slightly elongated shape, this little ring packs a punch! The diamonds are bright and white and really stand out in their setting. It measures 9.6 x 7.9mm and is set on a solid 18ct yellow gold shank. With some age related wear, there’s a few abrasions on the ruby noticeable only under high magnification, it is completely eye clean.
