An incredible band crafted in rich, golden 22ct yellow gold adorned with a ruby cabochon at the centre. It is made in the style of old Byzantine jewellery, the gold decorated with intricate and delicate beads and fine rope detailing placed at the front and around the natural ruby. The crisp rope decoration is present all the way around the thick band, which is just stunning with a very tactile feel to it. Lovely molten like glowing gold patination that contrasts beautifully with the ruby, the band measures 8.3mm at its widest and tapers down to 5.1mm at the back. It is 1.2mm thick. A superb, likely custom made piece of jewellery, that is ready to be worn and enjoyed for years to come. With great presence on the finger, it can be stacked if wanted, though completely holds its worth in its own. A great unisex ring too.
