Crafted in solid 18ct yellow gold, it features a stunning natural, rectangular cut emerald with the most beautiful soft yellow green hues. Surrounded by four creamy white pearls in a cross setting, with little butter gold ball detailing, it is a wonderful colour combination of green, gold and white which draws the eye direct to this stunning piece. The setting measures 12 x 10.2mm and leads to a solid thick gold shank. The shank is not original to the piece, but it has history in itself. It is stamped 18ct & Plat with makers marks SB&SLTD for Blanckensee & Son Ltd, a prominent 19th- and 20th-century English manufacturing jeweller, goldsmith and silversmith. They ceased trading in the 1930s! In excellent antique condition, no chips, abrasions to any of the stones, a beautifully kept piece that is ready to be worn. I love it as a pinky, but it can also be resized.
