A beautiful double diamond cluster ring with a natural sapphire and ruby dating from the Victorian period.
Featuring a bright blue natural sapphire and a vivid pink red ruby (likely Burmese) surrounded by fifteen old cut diamonds to form a double daisy cluster. The old cut diamonds are bright and fiery, chunky with high crowns and are claw set on an 18ct yellow gold gallery and shank. The setting measures 12.5 x 7mm and sits low on the finger making it ideal for everyday wear. Completely eye clean, there are some nibbles and wear visible under high magnification and commensurate with age.
